Position Summary
The Human Resources Generalist this function carries responsibility for assisting the HR Manager in the implementation HR programs by providing human resources services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and dental benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, employee relations and retention, team building, activity planning, and labor relations; completing personnel transactions and other duties as necessary to ensure maximum effectiveness of the Human Resources function.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Responsible for full cycle of talent acquisition and recruitment process; which include but not limited to; advertising positions external and on company website, managing the applications, coordinating with staffing agencies, interviewing, scheduling with department managers. Maintaining updated Job descriptions. Recruiting tracking system, updating managers on recruiting status.
Responsible for full cycle hiring and termination process, processing back ground & reference check, onboarding, creating and maintaining onboarding program/power point presentation, I-9 verification, manage the full cycle of the off-boarding process.
Payroll support: Set up pay structure policies, process bi-weekly and hourly payroll (Time & Attendance module) using payroll tool, review payroll reports for accuracy and completeness Ex: New hires, pay increases, benefit additions, terminations or changes, etc.
Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
Assist the HR Manager with employee relation issues, progressive discipline action, performance reviews, worker compensation claims, unemployment claims and FMLA Leave. Compensation analyses. Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
Assist HR Manager with employee eligibility for benefits plans. Organizes and manages annual open enrolment communications and election process. Maintain and distributes list of new and cancelled employees under each benefit plan. Verifies benefit billing accuracy and processes for payment.
Assist HR Manager in creating annually, monthly or as needed reports on EEO-1, payroll reports, workers compensation, affirmative action program, health and safety reports.
Responsible for coordinating and supporting all the training programs for Team Members.
Responsible for all employee engagement and recognition and wellness initiatives.
Completes special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing.
Cross ?functional Support: Assist in multiple areas of the company and work effectively in multiple disciplines on multiple projects.
Confidentiality: Display a high level of integrity by maintaining the confidence of proprietary information.
Including other duties assigned by your Manager from time to time.
