Schedule: Monday – Friday (Open to working some evenings and weekend mornings based on the availability of candidates, phone screenings)
$45,000 annual salary + Quarterly Bonus based on Success Metrics Location: Work from Home Remotely in Northeast Ohio

At Sunflower Childcare Substitutes, we save the day for local daycares and preschools that are experiencing a staffing crisis by sending qualified and dependable substitutes. We help to keep classrooms in ratio and leadership in the office.
As a Recruiter at Sunflower Childcare Substitutes, your days involve:
Posting positions to job boards
Identifying, screening, and interviewing candidates
Hiring qualified substitute teachers
Onboarding and verifying background checks for all new hires
Placing substitute teachers to Sunflower partner centers based on fit and needs

Ideal Recruiter Characteristics
1 year working as a Child Care Director in an Early Childhood Education setting with experience in hiring and onboarding
Self-starter and organization guru who pays attention to every detail
Excellent and consistent communication via phone, text, and email
Friendly, upbeat personality with high energy to get goals accomplished
Sensitive to the feelings and needs of others and be able to relate well to the challenges of the staffing and leadership roles in childcare by showing empathy and patience.
Key Responsibilities and Success Metrics:
Move candidates through the hiring process daily and update their status in the Applicant Tracking System in real-time such that the ATS is accurate 100% of the time.
Review applications and eliminate candidates from consideration who do not meet the job qualification questions
Contact qualified candidates to schedule an interview within 12 hours of your initial assessment
Report recruiting metrics daily to leadership via phone call 10:00 AM
Begin background check verification process within 24 hours of hire
Contact new hires within 24 hours of accepting a job offer to present an onboarding plan and schedule in-person training, in collaboration with leadership
