SMART Reviews is a Medical Litigation Management Company looking for remote Medical Case Reviewers to handle high quality and expeditious record reviews for personal injury cases.
Job responsibilities: Reviewing and summarizing plaintiff medical records to determine pertinent information. The ability to read and understand medical records, decipher handwritten notations preferred. Analytical and creative reasoning skills. Attention to detail is KEY. Heavy computer programs/systems capabilities. The Medical Case Reviewer will perform medical record reviews for clients in areas of litigation and mediation. This individual will use their medical knowledge and expertise to review medical records to prepare chronologies, products and assessments as established by client and company guidelines.
Minimum requirements: 2-3 years of clinical health care experience. Must be able to work a minimum 30 hours a week. 100% Remote Work. Set your own schedule once your training is complete (2-3 weeks) Experience with the litigation mediation process preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft office. Current knowledge of medical record review process and medical terminology. Effective medical record interpretation skills. All areas of medical experience considered: RN, LPN, CNA, MA, EMT, Paramedic, PT Tech, Pharmacy Tech, etc.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
