JOB TITLE: Medical Coding Educator
SUMMARY: As a key member of Soho Medical Doctors PLLC, this position is primarily responsible for coordinating all patient and insurance billings for the medical facility. This person has the ability to Build important relationships with insurance company representatives to ensure we are compliant with billing & are able to get paid for services. This position is also responsible for entering, reviewing, getting authorization, obtaining and billing accuracy patients’ accounts. Must love analyzing financial accounts & creating daily reports to convey revenue outcomes. Responsibilities also include coding, abstracting, and compiling medical records of patients of a health care delivery system to document patient condition and treatment by performing the following duties.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of google, Emr platforms, spreadsheets and Microsoft.
