Solar Energy World Hiring For Accounting Manager at Laurel, MD Full Time

Industry leading solar energy company is searching for an Accounting Manager to support the company’s next phase of growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing a team of junior and senior accountants to complete a monthly accounting close and preparation of financial statements.
• Overseeing all accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes, and general ledger activity.
• Review and refine accounting processes for improved efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensuring accurate job cost reporting.
• Analyzing data from our CRM, payroll, and accounting systems to ensure complete and accurate accounting records.
• Assisting with the implementation of a new ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Enforcing internal controls and ensuring compliance with all company policies. Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Training and development of accounting staff.
• Assisting with managerial reporting and analysis, budget planning, and other projects as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in an Accounting management role.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Experience with ERP implementation preferred.
• Familiarity with Quickbooks and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central a plus.
• Ability to work extensively with Microsoft Office. Ability to work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem and Advanced Excel skills are a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work within a team and the ability to collaborate with different functional groups across the organization.
