Responsibilities:
Participate in the on-boarding process of new hires
Coordinate Employee Status Changes; this requires the individual to learn and understand the Organizational structure and who stake holders are for certain processes
Assist in Employee Relations and workplace investigations
Generate staffing reports and recruiting metrics
Timecard analysis and verification
Generate Compliance reports for EEO, Affirmative Action, Veterans
Process Improvement, Data Management and Document creation
Provide onsite HR support for a variety of topics including but not limited to: employee relations, benefits, performance management, timecard guidance, compensation, and Company policies
Essential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business or related discipline with 2+ years of experience in a Human Resources role. Years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Knowledge and experience with full life cycle recruiting process and Applicant Tracking Systems
Thorough knowledge of HR principles and Federal/Local compliance regulations
Self-starter with attention to continuous process improvement
Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle highly sensitive information
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Strong problem solving ability and attention to detail
MS Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
Excellent proofreading, written, and verbal communication skills
Proficient in general HR operations processes
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Government Contracting experience
Technical writing experience creating documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures
Experience handling Employee Relations
Experience working in Paycom
