Outside Marketing Team Member also known as a Canvasser

Wilkerson Windows and Gutters is a part of Southern Industries. We’ve been in business over 55 years. We are the southeast’s largest and oldest home improvement company, is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Outside Marketing Team Member.

The Outside Marketing Team Member provides the first interaction with a homeowner. They are the driving force of the Marketing Department.

Marketing team members can do lots of different jobs they can be assigned to dedicated stores for example Walmart and Home Depot. Team members also help with trade shows, boat shows, community events, fairs and pretty much anywhere we can get our business in front of people. Our Marketing team also canvasses neighborhoods for perspective customers.

High Energy, Strong face to face communication skills and above average intelligence are a must!

Outside Marketing Team Members will utilize face to face communication skills to increase brand awareness and generate leads for our company’s sales team. This is an entry level position that will allow you to acquire so many transferable skills and allow you to grow your current skill set. It is also a great opportunity for someone looking to try something different. Outdoor Marketing Team Members are brought in with the expectation of eventually promoting to Team Leader and then Marketing Manager. If you don’t want to manage that’s ok too, several of our marketing team like what they do without the added pressure of being a manager. Outdoor Marketing Team Members are trained on product knowledge and our marketing process. We prefer a valid driver’s license.

A typical schedule for this position is Monday – Friday 10:30am -6:30pm Saturday 9:00am – 2:30pm You would work 40 hours per week. If your were scheduled for an event your schedule would be adjusted.

Pay Scale Option #1:

• $15.00 hour
• $20.00 per Demo Set up
• 2% commission on all sales you help bring in
• Money motivated with strong work ethic
• Serve with a cheerful attitude while on your feet outdoors for up to 8 hours at a time
• Must be able to pass background check , valid drivers license a plus

Pay Scale Option #2:

• $18.00 hour straight
