Southern Maine Health Care is seeking a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our passionate and dedicated team!
The Clinical Social Worker in the Mental Health Day Hospital plans, organizes and initiates the social work needs of the client population and their families.
This per-diem role, is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are looking to supplement their current position, or in search of a flexible schedule!
This clinician coordinates group therapy for clients and their families using a varied model perspective, i.e. process and/or teaching and/or instructional. Experience leading group therapy is preferred.
LCSW required for this role.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
1. Education: Master’s degree in Social Work preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Maine licensed Social Worker (LMSW, LCSW), LCPC or license eligible required.
3. Experience: Experience working with the mentally ill preferred. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience at the Masters level with some experience working with clients/patients in a psychiatric setting. Experience leading group therapy is preferred.
