Job Summary
The Human Resource Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the HR department including screening job applicants, benefits, leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. Maintain and develop effective internal procedures, handle employee-related issues, support recruiting and retention efforts. Finding, screening, recruiting new job applicants and developing training and development programs for all employees.
Duties/Responsibilities
· Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organizations goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
· Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys.
· Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
· Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of all candidates
· Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
· Support the orientation and onboarding programs. Create new employee files and remove terminated ones in Bamboo HR.
· Track vacation requests, follow up on approvals, and update calendars.
· Monitor worker’s compensation claims.
· Process unemployment claims.
· Enters maintains, and/or processes information in the Bamboo HR system.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 2 years’ experience.
