Spang Power Electronics has an opening for an Embedded Software Engineer at its Mentor, OH location. Responsibilities include planning and executing software development engineering tasks, project management, software design, software/hardware integration, and internal/external customer technical support. This includes the testing of the software, resolving performance issues, participating in software design reviews, and occasional travel to customers.
A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, electronics technology, or computer science engineering is required, as well as experience with software development with C language, C++ language, Assembly, SQL/Database programming, HTML and XML basics, DSP (TI), and TCP/IP. An MBA is a strong plus.
