Job Description:

• Conducting Site Surveys

• Installation of point of sale systems, ATMs, and digital kiosks

• Low Voltage Wire Pulling, termination, and testing

• Installation of IT systems and networks, camera systems, and alarm systems in dispensaries, cultivation facilities, and other

Position Responsibilities:

• Complete all service jobs that are assigned to you

• Communicate with the Lead Technician on any unusual service problems encountered or for any technical assistance needed.

• Attend service training classes offered to maintain knowledge on new products, or for refreshers on products not encountered too often.

• Complete and submit all paperwork daily for jobs worked on (time cards, maintenance reports with customers’ signature).

• Communicate with the dispatcher and/or service office as to the status of jobs and availability for new jobs.

• Always adhere to safety rules and policies at all times.

• Commits to long hours of work and travel when necessary to reach goals; weekends may be required.

• Drivers’ license required; prolonged amounts of time operating a vehicle.

• Ability to problem solve and work with hands.

• Ability to travel on short notice

• Analyze blueprints and other documentation needed to execute project on time and under budget

• Prepare/install cable pathways and supports

• Running new cabling in new or existing buildings

• Termination and testing of new and existing cables: Cat5e, Cat6

• Set up telecommunication frames including racks, cabinets and wall mount racks

• Operate test equipment, including tones, twisted pair checkers butt set and cable scanners

• Able to adapt to change in scope of work, work hours, project size and travel

• Be able to install, terminate, test and commission a wide range of products, including but not limited to voice and data cabling, paging systems, camera systems, security systems, and audio visual systems

• Ability to manage different personalities as it applies to the job

• Willing to travel on short notice

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to climb 6 – 12 foot ladder

• Must be able to occasionally lift, push, pull and carry up to 100 lbs.

• Work on your feet for a minimum of 8 hours

• Able bend, stoop or crouch

• Able to climb stairs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $24.00 per hour
