With a significant presence in Florida and Texas, Spectrum of Hope is a provider of comprehensive pediatric therapies including Speech Therapy, in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Occupational therapy, and Physical Therapy to children from ages birth to adulthood who are affected by physical, learning, injury, developmental, or congenital causes. Our care focuses on enhancing the health, behavior and functional performance of our patients through a unique, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary approach to our services.

YOUR IMPACT
We are seeking a Human Resource Director that can make an impact by truly understanding the business and providing thought leadership on driving team member engagement, building company culture, setting and refining compliance and policies and procedures, recruiting and developing top talent. The Human Resource Director will also help our Talent Acquisition efforts to ensure that we are attracting and hiring a qualified, diverse, engaged workforce that aligns with our values and the Spectrum of Hope Core Values. The ideal candidate will love rolling up their sleeves, be able to and enjoy moving fast, navigating ambiguity, building strong relationships across multiple locations and teams, and executing effectively which will ultimately impact the revenue and profitability of the organization. The Director will report to the VP of HR.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Perform and oversee daily HR operations including employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance and legal, and team engagement
Consult legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law
Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
Write and deliver presentations to corporate officers regarding human resources policies and practices
Lead and perform the full talent cycle including performance management, talent reviews, and career development planning
Recruit, interview, test as needed, and select employees to fill vacant positions
Write directives advising department managers of Company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits
Keep records of benefits plan participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting
Coordinate management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment
Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
Proactively Identify current and future talent needs that align with short and long-term organizational strategies and goals
Proactively lead facilitation and support leadership pipeline discussions (gap analysis, high-potential identification & development, succession planning, etc.) aimed at developing future leaders
Serve as a strategic advisor and change agent related to business initiatives
Administer benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance
Investigate claims and prepare reports for insurance carrier
Conduct wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate
Prepare budget of human resources operations for entity
Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations
Prepare reports and recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover
Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations
Contract with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as temporary employees, search firms, or relocation services
Build and foster healthy relationships and effectively communicate with key leaders
Actively research and stay apprised of able to adapt to current HR trends
Create, interpret, and analyze HR & Talent metrics and data to assist in making appropriate business decisions and recommendations

PHR, SPHR or other equivalent certification is preferred.
