Description of Role

SRI Telecom is seeking an OSP Maintenance Coordinator with relevant HFC node and plant experience to contribute to managing the swap of RF nodes with the new RPHY digital nodes. We are looking for strong knowledge of HFC plant and project & excel experience and we will train the rest. The successful scheduler will coordinate work with field personnel to plan, track and coordinate all activities involved with swapping these nodes across the OSP network. The Coordinator must be highly detailed, communicative, collaborative, task driven, comfortable working with the computer, self-motivated and comfortable driving project calls. This position will be working 5 days a week, M-F, 7-4.

Previous call center or XOC/NOC employees with good excel skills are encouraged to apply!

Note: If past Comcast employee, at least 3 years must have past since your last in-house workday.

Tasks

• Keep track of 100’s of project tasks via an online scheduling tool that are Excel and Salesforce based.
• Frequently run reports and provide updates on projects via reporting templates.
• Monitor tools and analyze data dealing with OSP power supplies to identify alerts and maintenance issues.
• Implement preventative maintenance schedules for OSP Maintenance teams.
• Work with OSP contractors who are upgrading nodes and amps – gather updates/issues and document.
• Assign tasks via salesforce to other internal and external teams
• Track tasks assigned to you and your team and provide update to your teams on upcoming tasks dues.
• Alert your team when new tasks are assigned to you and your team.
• Join project calls and provide updates where applicable.
• Support your field crews with creating NOC (XOC) tickets and managing plant and customer escalations.
• Manage customer escalations including calling customers and helping to resolve or confirm resolution.
• Collect updates from your construction manager in the field and update tasks in Salesforce and Excel.
• Report on specific project milestones, risk, and issues.
• Supports Specialists and leadership team with coordination of projects.
• Communicate with all teams involved and drive progress for each project.
• Manage data within proprietary software.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Responsibilities

• Project coordination skills required. 2-3 years preferred.
• Excel, Outlook skills required. 2-3 years preferred.
• HFC fundamental knowledge is preferred.
• Cross functional team coordination skills required.
• Ability to take ownership of jobs/tasks and drive to completion.
• Excellent verbal and written skills required.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills required.
• Be a Self-Starter who can work independently after proper training and mentorship.
• Ability to learn new proprietary software, download and compare data skills required.
• Outside Plant Experience is not necessary but would be helpful.

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday 7 am 4 pm (6-3 is an option)
