Outcomes

• Assist Shipping Dock Manager to supervise warehouse associateoperators and CDL drivers.
• Assist Dry Storage Packaging supervisor and act as supervisor in their absence.
• Supervise chill and freezers storage space.
• Schedule& execute product transfers to Cold and Dry storage facilities.
• Assist in management of trucking and forklift maintenance records and communication to support fleet equipment
• Coordinate with QA product, test results, release and on-hold status.
• Monitor and understand daily production schedules for inbound& outbound product, packaging and coordination with plant superintendent and supervisors to assist in tasks and meet needs.
• Conduct inventories and locate stored product pending production maintaining an ongoing awareness for freezer/chill storage space and warehouse inventories.
• Pull order sheets, create and execute BOLs for customer loads and shipments.
• Oversee, daily driver logs, maintenance status for lifts, trucks and trailers, recycle program, master sanitation schedules and document performance.
• This position has been identified as holding responsibility for food safety and quality of the company.
• Provide high quality customer service and inter-department communications.
• During absence, the following position serves as coverage to this position: Shipping Dock Manager on day shift.
• Other duties as assigned to include daily experienced forklift operation, MS Word/Excel and computer skills, Barcoding and labeling, weighing and automated wrapping.
• Seasonal supervision and transporting of seed to dryers, support for berry season.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); One year or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One or more years related experience and /or training in a shipping and/or food-processing environment where main focus was in the shipping department.
• Computer experience.
• 2-3 year forklift experience with tight freezer space storage facilities.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Bilingual English/Spanish desirable.
• Ability to work independently and seek guidance when necessary.
