Reporting directly to the Human Resources Director (HRD) for the President and Provost Office (PPO), the Human Resources Manager (HRM) will provide human resources services for a number of complex diverse departments that include multiple functional areas and facility locations, each organization reporting directly to Stanford’s President or Provost. In collaboration with the PPO HR team, the HRM will help support the University’s mission through strategic, innovative, and flexible policies, practices, programs, and services that sustain a workplace culture of excellence and high engagement, foster innovation and growth, promote diversity and respect, and support the integration of the demands of work and life.
We are open to a flexible hybrid work arrangement, a combination of working onsite at Stanford’s main campus and working from home.

The HRM will independently, and under general direction, address a variety of both basic as well as complex organizational issues, interacting with a diverse group of individuals in an active, fast-paced, and challenging environment.
