What You’ll Do
The HR Manager, Stanley Leadership Program will play a key role in driving the integration, standardization, and framework design for the early in career rotational program across Finance and Technology functions. This high visibility role will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, attracting talent, rotational program management, and driving post program initiatives (retention efforts, alumni engagement efforts etc.) growing this program into a best-in-class leadership program.
As HR Manager, Stanley Leadership Program, you’ll be part of our Corporate HR team. You’ll get to:
Leverage your prior experience and creativity to manage the leadership development program track for Stanley Black & Decker, including: rotation design, recruiting strategy, participant development, onboarding, mentorship and leadership exposure
Lead program recruitment, in partnership with Talent Acquisition, to select the best and brightest future talent for Stanley Black & Decker’s finance and IT teams
Mentor program participants and facilitate permanent placement opportunities across different business divisions and functions
For employees already in the rotational leadership program, you will work with business leaders and HR leaders to determine and prioritize strategic rotational assignments and final post program placements, coordinate program report outs, communications meetings, and act as the HR business partner to SLPs
Identify, develop, and execute talent development initiatives to support to the continued growth of data literacy, access, and usage across Stanley Black & Decker

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications or related field
5+ years of work experience in human resources, preferably including experience as a Recruiter and/or Generalist
Experience managing early career talent programs
Passion for HR and talent development with the ability to create and foster an inclusive environment
Handshake experience
Prior experience working cross-functionally or in a COE model to leverage best practices
Demonstrated ability and desire to “roll up your sleeves” in a fast-paced environment with high volume workload.
Must demonstrate flexibility, agility and resilience to thrive on change and competing priorities and timelines.
Strong time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize work demands with an attention to detail.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to manage across functions at various levels.
Credible HR professional with an ability to understand the business and build effective business relationships.
Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills.
