Starfish Restaurant Group is opening our second location in the heart of OC. Established in 2011, our company is founded by a husband-and-wife team, operating alongside a group of dynamic industry leaders.

The Starfish Newport Beach General Manger is a committed, dynamic, versatile and growth minded individual.

Tenacious and professional, experienced yet vibrant, with charisma and hustle. Has an ability to control the temperament of our teams, for balance and restaurant harmony.

Works closely with ownership and culinary teams, to ensure successful menu execution and operational flow through depth of menu knowledge. With the ability to confidently control the pulse of the restaurant.

Exemplary leadership with a hands-on approach through team development, retention, and commitment to brand excellence. Strong ability to coach, counsel and lead all different types of individuals.

Guest relations focused with a strong ability for professional conflict resolution under pressure.

Requirements

• 3-5 years previous high-end restaurant, hotel, or night club management experience
• Experience in team building, hiring, training and culture development
• Innovative, trustworthy, objective
• Strong communication skills
• Has performed scheduling
• Fluent in all restaurant software programs o Point of Sale, TOAST preferred, not required o Scheduling software o Delivery Platform Management o Restaurant 365 software o Inventory systems
• Proactive approach to system implementation for overall restaurant success
• Maintain professional restaurant image on and off premise
• Community involvement for brand symbiosis
• Ability to understand operational reporting and adjust through given goals and projections
• Harness store growth through the capability to rise to many different challenges
• Experience in store openings
• Proficient cash management
• Flexible to the demands of restaurant hours
• Wine acumen
• Floor manager experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
