General Statement Of Duties: The Culture and Leadership Manager is a pivotal role responsible for leading and implementing diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (IDEA) initiatives, support the Judicial Officer Outreach Program, cultivating a positive workplace culture across our organization. This position will also oversee the Leadership Development and Training for staff.
Distinguishing Factors: The Culture and Leadership Manager position is distinguished from other classifications due to the responsibility for one or more distinct units or two or more statewide programs or projects, and supervision of 5 or more employees. The classification provides complete coverage for one or more programs and is responsible for the development of new work products, committees and work assignments. The classification may also supervise individuals who supervise the work product of other Human Resources employees.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands and fingers and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. This position is subject to varying and unpredictable situations; may handle emergency or crisis situations; is subject to many interruptions; may handle multiple calls and inquiries simultaneously; and may occasionally handle absentee replacement on short notice.

Your Key Role And Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions Of Employment & Appeal Rights
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required. At least five years of Human Resources or related experience required with at least three years specializing in equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, and diversity programs. One year of supervisory experience required.
OR
An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required formal education. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR, or certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion preferred.
Work within programs dealing with development of organizational culture and/or diversity is preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local regulations regarding Inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
