Salary: $3,635 per month (SR-16)

Duties Summary
The Investigator I receives orientation and training in the investigative field; learns basic investigative techniques and procedures, as well as laws, rules and regulations pertaining to an agency’s jurisdiction; receives simple and routine assignments; and performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
To qualify, you must meet all the following requirements:
Basic Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
Investigative professional work experience or any other progressively responsible administrative, professional or other analytical work experience which provided knowledge, skills and abilities comparable to those acquired in four years of successful study while fulfilling a prescribed college curriculum leading to a baccalaureate degree may be substituted for the required Education on a year-for-year basis.
The education or experience background must have demonstrated the ability to write clearly and comprehensively materials such as reports and analyses; read and interpret complex written material; perform research; and solve complex problems logically and systematically.
Driver’s License: Some positions require possession of a valid driver’s license at the time of appointment.
