The People Services team is looking for a limited term Human Resource Analyst to support organizational recruiting, classification, and selection efforts. This position will perform classification and selection duties for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and Michigan Strategic Fund. This position will support and help develop proactive recruitment strategies for the agency and will provide backup assistance to other HR staff in all areas, including payroll processing and benefit administration.

Required Education and Experience
Education for Human Resources Analyst 9-P11
Possession of a bachelor’s degree in any major.
Experience for Human Resources Analyst 9-P11

Human Resources Analyst 10
One year of professional experience providing human resources services equivalent to a Human Resources Analyst 9.
Human Resources Analyst P11
Two years of professional experience providing human resources services equivalent to a Human Resources Analyst, including one year equivalent to a Human Resources Analyst 10.
Education and Experience for Human Resources Analyst (Departmental Trainee) 9 (FOR CLASSIFIED STATE EMPLOYEES ONLY)
Education
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.
Experience
Four years of experience as an advanced 9-level worker in an ECP Group One classification.
OR
Three years of experience as an E9, E10, or E11-level worker in an ECP Group One classification.
OR
Two years of experience as an experienced level worker in an ECP Group One technician or paraprofessional classification.
OR
Two years of experience as a first-line supervisor in an ECP Group Three classification.
OR
One year of experience as a second-line supervisor in an ECP Group Three classification.
Educational Substitution
College credits may be substituted on a proportional basis (one year of college education may substitute for one quarter of the required experience) for up to one half of the required experience.
Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certifications
Certain positions may require a criminal history background check.
NOTE: Equivalent combinations of education and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be evaluated on an individual basis.
