Job Summary
The Training Coordinator position will provide support for the learning and development program for Minnesota IT Services. This position is part of a team of three, that will specialize in providing administrative support such as scheduling training, tracking and reporting on compliance requirements, and monitoring available e-learning licenses. We are seeking someone who enjoys providing thoughtful and courteous customer service, managing accurate tracking, reporting, and data analysis, all while bringing a continuous improvement perspective.
**At this time, this position is eligible to work full-time teleworking, hybrid or full-time in the office depending on the needs of the business unit and with supervisor approval. Telework is a work arrangement that allows an employee to perform work on a scheduled regular, recurring basis at a remote telework location.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must clearly demonstrate all of the following qualifications in their resume:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Development, Data Analysis, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or a related field OR
One (1) year of professional experience supporting learning and development OR
Two (2) years of para-professional learning and development program support experience
AND
Experience must include the following:
Customer service experience
Work experience using Microsoft Office Suite products or similar (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Use of a learning management system (LMS) or reporting software (e.g. BI, Access)
**Successful candidate must pass past-employer reference checks and a criminal history verification.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human Resource Development, Data Analysis, Organizational Development, Instructional Design or a related field
Experience with e-learning and virtual training
Experience developing user-friendly and accessible materials
Experience collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., set-up and troubleshooting training room needs including, but not limited to AV technology, training equipment, and web conferencing tools.
