The Anaheim, CA site has a job opening for a Sr Human Resource Business Partner. The primary responsibility of this position is to lead and support our most valuable resource, people. This position will lead recruiting, training, and development to create strong teams and an inclusive culture. The incumbent will support the site teams to achieve the desired performance objectives, business unit initiatives, and local/site initiatives. This position which reports to the NA Regional HR Manger and partners with the Plant Manager to prioritize tasks, optimize resources and support organizational improvements.Â
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Partner with management and provide guidance, coaching and council on Human Resource related issues such as change management, optimization, and team building.
Provide coaching, feedback, and effectively communicate improvement opportunities
Oversee/provide performance management, development, and succession planning
Lead key projects and activities, including employee and community activities.
Assist supervisors and managers with CBA interpretation and rationale
Responsible for CBA adherence processes and communication.
Responsible for recruiting and employee life-cycle activities for the facility
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Maintain records and files such as, HRIS transactions, employee files, and records.
Create, update, and maintain department/site metrics, dashboards, and reports
Provide information relating to employees’ benefits, compensation, and recognition Â
Develop, implement, and maintain Human Resources policies and procedures.
Requirements:
            Bachelor’s Degree required; preferred in Human Resource Management
            Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR with 2 years’ experience in Labor Relations
            SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred
            Manufacturing site experience, Chemical Manufacturing preferred
            Strong communications, interpersonal, leadership and computer skills
            Strong understanding of employee and labor relations practices, and the collective bargaining process
            Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
            Experience with HRIS’s, Microsoft Office and database management
            Ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential information
            Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach
Bachelor’s Degree required; preferred in Human Resource Management
