Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for various HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment and selection, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for recruitment efforts of high volume of hourly positions such as production, sanitation, maintenance, warehouse and/or quality technician employees.

Your Day-to-Day
Develop and maintain good employee communications/relations to promote positive teamwork attitudes and overall company retention.
Serves a collaborate partner within HR and leadership to develop and implement tactical and strategic plans to support business objectives
Leads full cycle recruitment efforts to support the business operations maintaining proper staffing levels to include leading the sourcing and processing candidates creating a strong candidate pipeline.
Manages temporary staffing partners as the business may require temporary staffing from time to time.
Builds strong collaboration with supervisors and crew scheduler in understanding staffing needs.
Support employee investigations solving complex and broad employee relations concerns with a focus on the employee experience and a positive business outcome.
Performs data analysis to determine gaps and recommends solutions
Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
Support all internal and external audits related to human resources or payroll
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines as related to human resources and payroll activities
Partners with business leaders on the development and implementation of initiatives that create and engaged work force
Supports the training program compliance of new hires and existing employees by providing routing compliance reports to leadership.
Supports retention programs/initiatives and has floor presence to understand the people needs
Provides great customer services to everyone ensuring others get the support required.
Support with retention efforts and the mitigation of attrition
Other duties and special projects as assigned by the SHRM.
What You Bring to the Team
3+ years of experience in full life cycle recruiting required.
Minimum of 2+ year of recruiting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
Experience effectively managing the recruiting process for a load of at least 30-50 open positions at any given time.
Excellent consultative, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at a time, with excellent organizational skills.
Highly collaborative, and responsive, with excellent communication skills.
Must have good working knowledge of Excel, and social media/networking sites.
Ability to be successful in a high-demand, high-tension work environment.
Bilingual English/Spanish (reading/writing/speaking) is preferred.
