We know how to get things done and have fun at the same time, and are looking for someone who can do the same.ASSISTANTThe Merchandising Assistant supports the Merchandising Manager with apparel PLM software management, apparel costing, sample preparation & creation of sales tools. Essential Functions (Including but not limited to):Assists in PLM system management from initial design to final style completion.Enters & maintains general style information, merchandising codes & Harmonized Tariff code information.Creates jpeg images for system upload.Maintain product information as it relates to fabrics, trims, art detail, etc.Create BOM & tech packs within PLM.Assists in creating cost sheets and seasonal projection sheet templates.Monitor and ensure pricing meets internal margin goals.Seasonal competitive shopping & analysis.Create seasonal wholesale apparel catalogs.Assist with the creation of brand & trend presentations.Prep samples with style info tags & comments when needed.Perform any other duties as assigned in support of the company needs and operations. Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelors or Associates in Fashion Merchandising or related field and 2 years industry experience.Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced Excel), Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign.Knowledge of Exenta Software a plus or experience with other Supply Chain Management systems.Excellent written and verbal skills as required for effective interpersonal communication with clients and other employees.Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and workload seamlessly with keen attention to detail and follow-up.Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to apply good work habits to effectively complete assigned tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the company/department.
