Our HR Generalist role serves as a critical resource to Strategic’s employees and internal business partners and focuses on delivering comprehensive human resources programs, initiatives, and solutions in support of increased employee and organizational performance. Our HR Generalists help to drive the best possible authentic overall employee experience, ensures policy alignment and compliance, and works to improve companywide HR practices. The HR generalist will partner closely with the HR Business Partner to provide proactive, innovative, customer-focused HR solutions that are aligned with the needs of the business objectives and our people strategy. Solutions and strategies may include employee relations, , performance and talent management,, and modeling values and cultural practices with the company’s long-term vision. Responsible for developing credible and trusting relationships with employees, partners, and leaders. The ideal candidate has a growth mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities:
Effectively onboards and offboards employees
Answers employees and leaders’ questions in a timely manner
Proactively partners with employees and conducts employee focus groups to ensure employee fulfillment
Provides support and guidance to leaders and employees with respect to employee relations and performance management issues,
Effectively plans and assists with execution of company cultural events
Partners with Human Resources Business Partner to enhance the partnership with the business.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Assists with implementation, administration, and education of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices; including but not limited to performance management, corrective actions, internal investigations, talent review, and organizational changes.
Provides input in the design and development of company-wide HR initiatives and programs to ensure alignment with business requirements and needs.
Works on special projects.
Hybrid in office and work from home expectation
Qualifications:
3+ years’ HR generalist experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
Experience with ADP Workforce strongly preferred
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
Extensive experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
