Essential job duties and responsibilities:

• Provides accounting services for the owner, such as paying expenses, recording expense, processing the full accounting cycle per month, reconciliations, credit card maintenance, record expenses of credit card expenses, and payoff credit cards, maintenance of the bank accounts, and bank, reconciliations, miscellaneous accounting, and ad hoc projects, etc.
• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
• Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents
• Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
• Reconciles and reviews prepaids and fixed assets monthly.
• Reviews and reconciles credit cards monthly with Senior accountant reviewing and approving the credit cards.
• Reviews and reconciles the Balance sheet gl accounts with Senior accountant reviewing and approving.
• Reconciles bank accounts, credit card accounts and biweekly payroll reports
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
• Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations
• Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
• Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
• Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge
• Ability to work from the StrongMind, Chandler, AZ office during scheduled work hours.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Maintains and balances Intercompany AR/AP gl accounts weekly and monthly.
• AR ownership of following and collection/AR outstanding from customers and help from departments to collect from customers.

• Experience with financial reporting requirements
• Experience in NetSuite is a plus
• Experience in working in a multiple entity environment is desirable
