Suite Living Senior Care is locally owned and provides Memory Care & Assisted Living specialty senior services in a professionally managed and carefully designed setting. We currently have 11 communities located across the Twin Cities metro area with our Corporate Office located in White Bear Lake, MN. This position will be ON-SITE at our Corporate Office.

JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Generalist is responsible for the administration of a broad range of operational HR programs, services, and support to management & employees, including but not limited to Benefits Administration, Talent Acquisition, Compliance & Onboarding, Employee Relations, Leadership Training & Development, and Process Improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the delivery and administration of benefits (medical, LTD, Life, 401k, and PTO) including managing the open enrollment process and coordinating with third party vendors.
Primary contact for employees with any HR, payroll, benefit, or conflict-resolution related inquiries.
Assist in creating and facilitating training and development opportunities for the workforce.
Spearhead continuous process improvement initiatives and development and implementation of standard operating procedures.
Assist in the development, implementation, maintenance, and communication of company policies.
Ensures HR processes and programs are compliant with federal and state legislation and regulations.
Work in tandem with the Recruiter(s) on talent acquisition initiatives including job postings, pre-screen interviews, reference checks / background studies, and job offers.
Assist departments with new hire onboarding and employee record compliance.
Review and respond to unemployment and workers compensation claims.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 3 years progressive HR-related experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field highly preferred OR a combination of Education, Certification(s), and/or related experience.
Must have a strong background with generalist accountabilities, including benefit administration, talent acquisition, employee relations, employee onboarding, and training & development.
Must have HRIS experience, iSolved preferred but not required
Familiarity with Sharepoint software highly preferred but not required
Familiarity with ApplicantPro software highly preferred but not required
A track record of strong coaching, conflict management and influence up, down, and across the organization is essential.
Accounting/Finance background a plus.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint.)
Must have the ability to develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships and partnerships with all levels within the company and partner organizations.
Strong organizational, time management, problem solving, and communication skills required.
Must have the ability to effectively manage sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
