The HR Specialist will perform a variety of human resource functions. Primary duties include but are not limited to:
Maintenance of electronic and physical employee data
Management of time off and leave programs
Responds to unemployment claims
Completes wage garnishment and employment verification requests
Administers uniform and incentive programs
Provides payroll processing coverage when needed
Assists with HR projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
Solid understanding of applicable federal and state laws
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, decision making, and analytical skills
Takes pride in producing quality work and has a desire to maintain accuracy and consistency by applying excellent attention to detail
Practices appropriate discretion
Possesses strong communication skills and is comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
Takes initiative, brings forth ideas for improvement, acts in a timely manner, and is able to prioritize work
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Remains flexible with changing priorities and increasing demands
Exhibits strong work ethic and technical ability
Education/Experience:
Minimum high school diploma and 3-5 years of related experience required
Familiarity with Paylocity & Dynamics 365 preferred
