HR Support:
Run Payroll (Including EDD Management)
Maintain employee records, including recording the hiring, transfer, termination, change in job classifications, and merit increase dates, and tracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
Manage and Execute approved Status changes
Support employee benefit programs including medical insurance, disability or FMLA programs by advising employees of eligibility, providing application information, helping with form completion, verifying submission, and notifying employees of approvals.
Maintain and upload records and tracking sheets with performance reviews, training, certifications, and personnel files.
Become fully versed in facilitating the orientation and on-boarding process, this includes: setting up the HR portal for new hires, gathering necessary documents and signatures to complete and upload the personnel file, explaining company policies and our benefits programs.
Assist the HR team with reporting (requires technical knowledge and analysis)
Coordinate recurring employee lunches at all locations (manufacturing and distribution locations in CA and other states) – work directly with on-site managers to assist with ordering, set-up, and coordination.
Create and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails.
Communicate and diligently prepare for all events, work with partners, and ensure value, impact, and mission.

Office Management & Support:
Perform general administrative support duties associated with the office.
Setup and maintain office shared calendar for events and conference room reservations.
Setup and maintain conference rooms for meetings.
Setup and maintain the break room area, including snack, supply, and lunch orders.
Coordinate all repairs and maintenance necessary to keep the office running smoothly.
Use tracking systems to record inbound and outbound courier and freight packages.
Arrange messenger service as needed.
Arrange scanning and copying as needed.
Other projects as assigned.
