What we need
We are looking for an HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources Team at Symbotic. Your role will be to support the general HR functions of Symbotic including Compensation, Benefits, HR Business Partners, HRIS, and Talent Development. This role offers broad exposure to all HR disciplines and assists with facilitating HR processes across the organization. HR Coordinators are a vital source of HR information and must maintain a strong knowledge of policy, procedure and action.
What we do
The Human Resources organization is responsible for recruitment, administration, compensation, benefits, training & development, performance management and employee relations.
What you’ll do
- Facilitate all new hire paperwork and ensure timely completion of I9 documentation according to Federal standards
- Conduct weekly new hire orientation at Wilmington HQ
- Conduct regular audits of processes and employee data
- Manage HR@Symbotic general inbox to field questions from employees, managers and the business
- Maintain and create personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements. Ensure confidential human resource files and records are current and accurate
- Execute termination procedures including sending exit paperwork, equipment return, payroll processing and exit interviews as needed
- Manage OTP administration including repayments, relocation terms and issuance of letters
- Complete unemployment claims
- Provide employment verifications as needed
- Maintain Symbotic’s Policy page via Sharepoint
- Place gift orders for milestone anniversaries, bereavement and other life events
- Track and manage the Symbotic Tuition Reimbursement program
- Create and maintain SOP documents for HR Coordinator processes
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred. May be substituted with equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources or related field
- Experience working in the tech industry
- Workday experience preferred
- Proficient abilities within Microsoft Office (PPT, Word, Sharepoint, Outlook)
- Professional and polished written and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgement
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive and protected information appropriately
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
