General Purpose of Position:

Assists Accounting Department in maintaining accurate financial data.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs monthly account analysis & reconciliations for Balance Sheet accounts including, but not limited to, Pre-paid (other, advertising, items, and taxes), PP&E (additions, disposal, accumulated depreciation and depreciation expense), & Capital and Operating leases
• Performs monthly account analysis & reconciliations for Profit and Loss accounts including, but not limited to; General insurance expense, Employee benefits, advertising expenses, Depreciation expense, rent expense, interest expense, Miscellaneous income and expense, all to support the monthly closing cycle.
• Preparation and maintenance of Dental Consignment Inventory schedules, disposals and required reserves.
• Prepare and enter journal entries based upon above reconciliations as required for monthly closing.
• Create various management reports as needed.
• Sales Analysis
• Liaison between various affiliated companies located in Japan.
• Provide technical support by assisting in the resolution of Great Plains processing issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Educational Requirements:

• BS / BA Degree in Accounting / Finance.

Training/Experience:

• 2–5 years related work experience.
• Experience with FRx Financial Report Writer, Microsoft Suite.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong PC skills (MS Office Products).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and organization skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented.
