The Clinical Coordinator works with the Assistant Operations Manager to ensure that staff resources are directed appropriately while also serving as a key stakeholder for improvements in work flow and service delivery to patients. They communicate with different departments and ensure adequate patient care both in-person and via virtual services. They are skilled in problem solving techniques and team development, and provide feedback to both staff and administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform all duties within HIPAA privacy rules.
• Identify needs and improvements within the brick & mortar clinics.
• Escalate staff/client issues to AOM.
• Employ financial acumen in budgeting and expenditure in relation to image orders
• Authorize imaging/treatment as per agreed protocols and/or standing orders.
• Assist providers with imaging orders – create, fax, retrieve results, attach and send to applicable parties.
• Communicate with accounting department, to ensure that all imaging bills are paid in a timely manner.
• Communicate medical results to patients as needed, under clinical supervision.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation of patient care.
• Be available for our virtual staff to assist with telemedicine visits as needed.
• Track orders to ensure timely results
• Assist with client notification audits
• Vet new clinics to ensure that they meet COS and client needs.
• Takes responsibility for incomplete charting/follow-up in the ECC software as directed.
• Request and obtain medical records from outside facilities, as directed.
• Responds to communications from patients and clients promptly and ensures completion of their requests.
• Work onsite in a clinical capacity at various client locations as needed

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience at a healthcare facility in a Clinical Coordinator role (essential).
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, ICD and CPT coding (highly advantageous).
• Innovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
• Strong organizational, administrative and planning skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent documentation, communication and IT skills.
• Passionate about clinical excellence.

Education:

• Current CPR certification (essential)
