Senior Web Developer/Head of Web Operations

TCP Software is seeking a Senior Web Developer/Head of Web Operations to join our growing team. In this role, you will own and manage the entire web operations, from overall web architecture, development, design, and coordination of content. In collaboration with key marketing stakeholders, you will develop and communicate strategic website plans, performance, metrics, and opportunities for optimization and enhancement to the marketing leadership team.

You will also work closely with other business stakeholders to understand website user requirements and own the development of solutions to meet those requirements. You will set standards for design in conjunction with the creative team, define and enforce adherence to development processes, own website design to production deployment, ensure security updates are maintained, and oversee quality assurance. In this role, you will also assess new web technologies to determine fit for the organization’s needs. Broad knowledge and experience of the field with demonstrated leadership skills is a must.

You will:

• Manage Website Operations
• Supervise and/or advise website designers & developers
• Contribute to and manage plans, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of full-stack website solutions
• Resolve website support requests, troubleshooting problems and providing customer support for the full web stack
• Provide technical input and scheduling information to cross functional teams
• Working within and supporting an agile development environment
• Act independently with minimal supervision to conduct smaller approved projects
• Make recommendations for product and process improvements based on technical knowledge
• Performs other duties as required

About you:

• 5+ years proven experience as a Full Stack, Responsive Web Developer
• Familiarity with Craft CMS is a plus
• Strong front-end development and UX skills with at least one of Angular, Vue, React
• Strong back-end development in PHP
• Knowledge of least one PHP MVC framework such as Laravel, with demonstrated experience of taking a full web application to production
• Experience with Linux is required; AWS experience is a plus
• Experience in a high availability production environment is desirable

• Craft CMS (Symphony/Yii) framework.
• Twig Templating w/Craft and Yii functionality
• PHP (Object Oriented & Procedural)
• jQuery, JavaScript, Bootstrap, SCSS
• Laravel Mix
• GIT, GitLab, CI/CD Pipelines
• MySQL Database
• SSH to Ubuntu Linux with Apache, and associated commands
• NPM & Composer
• Experience with ScaleFT (for production server access)
