As a Compensation Analyst you will review and provide analysis, implementation, and administration of compensation programs for assigned business units including all level of positions across the organization. Assists with the review of compensation programs, making recommendations to management regarding salary grades or market rates for specific roles and/or current/new pay programs. Manages salary survey submissions, results, and conducts comprehensive market studies. Works with all Human Resource groups to develop and propose ways to attract and retain associates in assigned business units and/or through compensation programs.
The pay range listed for this position represents the low and high end of the base compensation range. The actual offer amount will carefully consider multiple factors, such as relevant skills, qualifications, work experience, location and/or competencies that align with the specified role. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and equity awards.
This position can be hired at either a Compensation Analyst (2023-21863) or Senior Compensation Analyst (2023-21864) level depending on the skills and qualifications of the candidate. Different job postings exist for each of these positions. Responsibilities:
- Reviews and provides analysis related to compensation programs for assigned business units. This includes assisting with pay ranges, commission and incentive programs, as well as acting as a consultant to the business units who need assistance with programs mentioned above and/or evaluating these programs with input from the business units.
- Review of compensation programs, assists with recommendations to management regarding the status, review, analysis, design, recommendation and/or implementation related to existing or potential compensation and benefits programs.
- May administer compensation programs, including, but not limited to annual merit increase programs, sales incentive and/or commission programs, and geographic differentials for current salary ranges. This may also include alternative pay practices.
- Participate in surveys and market analysis, preparation and completion related to total rewards as well as actively participating special projects directed by inquiring business units.
- Prepare and analyze associate data related to compensation, total rewards (including, but not limited to company benefit programs), and associate data management topics as requested.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years professional work experience.
- 1+ years’ experience in Human Resources.
Other Qualifications
- Compensation experience preferred.
- CCP preferred.
- Experience in a consulting/leadership role working with management.
- Extensive computer/HRIS experience, including spreadsheets, databases, internet/intranet and word processing applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have knowledge of compensation laws and regulations and proposed changes and the ability to apply them consistently.
- Excellent teamwork skills, project and time management, as well as follow through and attention to detail.
- High level of integrity and professionalism with proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently.

Associates scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week have access to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off benefits such as vacation (15 days accrued per year for full-time; pro-rated for part-time associates working between 20-39 hours), sick leave (10 days accrued per year for full-time and pro-rated for all other associates), seven paid national holidays and one floating holiday, paid parental leave (2 weeks after 12 months of employment), among others. Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability coverage is also available for associates working 30 or more hours per week and Education Assistance is available to full-time associates. Associates scheduled to work under twenty hours per week or for a limited term (i.e. interns) are eligible for medical coverage, the 401(k) plan (if 18 or older), as well as sick leave (10 days accrued per year for full-time and pro-rated for all other associates). Pay Range: $53,500.00 – $87,000.00
