As a Data Engineer Intern at Techstars you will learn alongside a high performing team building innovative software solutions for entrepreneurs worldwide. In this role, you will assist in the fulfillment of research requests, learn the features and functions of techstars enterprise data platform and assist in data cleansing initiatives.
What you will do
- Complete data entry tasks and research requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Proactively communicate the status of assigned tasks and any challenges in completing them.
- Document finding of research related requests in clean and concise fashion
- Recognize process improvement opportunities.
- Stay organized and focused on assigned tasks.
What you bring
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Basic proficiency in SQL
- Some level of proficiency in one or more of the following preferred (Python, javascript, Bash)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, a desire to learn and teach.
Nice to have
- Experience in financial/investment data
