Job Description
TENBA is a global brand producing top-quality camera and video bags, backpacks, cases and accessories used by professional and amateur photographers and filmmakers.
You will be involved in the entire product design process from beginning to end.
Being a small team, we also handle packaging & hangtag design for our products as well as market research, fabric research & sourcing, etc…
+ 3+ years proven softgoods experience preferred. Could be a senior-level designer. (We are a small team and not big on titles, just looking for the right individual.)
+ Fluency in the Adobe suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign in order to create clean digital drawings and spec packets
+ Strong sketching ability(hand or digital)to communicate and work through ideas
+ Have a design/fashion sensibility towards “urban explorer” or “timeless”
+ Possess basic understanding of soft goods construction and terminology
+ Be an independent and self-motivated worker, even without deadlines
+ Articulate and technically-minded, good judgment of dimensions and thinking in 3D
+ Organized and able to keep tabs on the status of several projects
+ Knowledge of photography and camera equipment not required, but a plus
+ Travel, hiking, or photography-related hobby a big plus to actively test products
Full-time with benefits
Hybrid position *not fully remote* in-office 1-3 days per week, depending on prototype cycles
Office is in Westchester County near a Metro North stop, or free on-site parking
Salary negotiable based on your experience
