The Archdiocese of Baltimore Hiring For Teacher, Elementary Classroom ‘- at Aberdeen, MD Full Time

St. Joan of Arc Catholic School in Aberdeen, Maryland is seeking candidates for full time elementary teaching positions for the 2023-2024 school year. The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing standards based lessons as prescribed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocesan Course of Study
  • Implement lesson plans utilizing a variety of techniques to motivate, challenge and engage students
  • Provides regular and consistent communication with parents, students, staff and administration as outlined by the St. Joan of Arc Parent Handbook and Faculty/Staff Handbook.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff and administration to implement school wide STEM initiatives

Job Requirements:


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in education or other related field.
  • Current MSDE certification or willingness to obtain
  • Experience with integration of technology
  • Basic understanding and acceptance of Catholic school philosophy, goals and objectives
