St. Francis of Assisi School, located in Baltimore City, Maryland is a community
of excellence providing a broad and balanced human and Catholic education
through excellent academic and extracurricular programs that promote
leadership, achievement, and service within the church and community.

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to serve as an upper elementary
teacher for the 2023-2024 academic school year. This teacher will be responsible
for planning and implementing standards based lessons as prescribed by the
Archdiocese of Baltimore. This teacher will report to the Principal.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement lessons consistent with the Archdiocesan curriculum
  guidelines
• Integrate the use of technology effectively into the curriculum
• Communicate with parents in a professional and timely manner
• Participate in faculty meetings, committee meetings, professional development opportunities, and retreats
• Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and administration
• Assess students fairly and regularly
• Actively supervise students at all times
• Maintain professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teachings of the Catholic Church

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education
• Current MSDE Certification
• Experience in a school setting
