As the HR Generalist, you will create a welcoming, supportive, helpful and fun environment for our West Coast Bakery employees. You will partner with the West Coast HR Manager to support, coordinate and execute all Human Resources functions at The Cheesecake Factory West Coast Bakery to ensure a fully engaged and talented workforce at a Bakery with more than 300 staff members that create delicious and memorable experiences.

Responsibilities
Here’s what you’ll get to do:
Partner with the West Coast Human Resources Manager to ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements and assists in implementation and monitoring adherence to policies/procedures.
Responsible for the distribution of updated communication and conduct pertinent training where necessary.
Assist in the development, implementation and presentation of HR-related training programs such as new hire orientation as well as policy and procedure training.
Create a yearly recruitment plan according to operation and sales projections and conduct hiring for all direct labor positions to ensure all positions are appropriately staffed.
Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records and ensure compliance.
Oversee multiple employee programs including Carpool Program, Shoes for Crews, Benefits Administration, Unemployment Claims, LOA and Medical inquiries and ensures follow-up and documentation as needed.
Coordinates Orientation, new hire paperwork and interviews for all new hire candidates.
Assist with 30-60-180-day reviews for newly hired Hourly employees.
Create employee engagement initiatives, obtain necessary budget approval, and initiate activities.
Assist with employee relations issues as needed.
Qualifications
What we require:
Minimum of 4 years of HR Supervisor/Generalist experience or related experience required.
Working knowledge of laws and regulations governing human resources.
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Customer Service Oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent leadership skills and the ability to act independently.
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish).
What we prefer:
Bachelor’s Degree.
PHR/SPHR.
