This Benefits and Leave Administration Specialist position’s primary responsibilities include; supporting the administration of the company’s benefits programs and managing leaves in accordance with state and federal laws. Conducting new hire meetings to include supporting employees with UKG enrollment, assisting with COVID testing, assisting with leave management, benefits administration, regulatory and plan compliance, reporting, billing audits. Successful candidates will be system savvy, analytical and detail oriented with excellent communication, organizational and time management skills, a strong work ethic, flexibility and like working in a fast-paced team environment.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in a human resource environment administering benefits and leaves.
Extensive knowledge and experience with employee benefits and applicable laws including FMLA, PFML, STD, LTD, ADA, COBRA.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Highly proficient in Excel, PPT and other MS Office applications.
A high aptitude for systems, confidentiality, creative problem solving, understanding detail and data integrity are essential for success in this role.
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
PHR and/or SHRM CP designations preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus!
Hours may vary with some early evenings as needed.
Overtime will be required as needed.
