The Hartford’s GB technology Team is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, detail-oriented and results-driven Staff Software Engineer to support Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) product and further support the system as Reliability Engineer. The Staff Engineer will have end-to-end accountabilities of Billing function for Group Benefits. Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate strong technical leadership skills, excellent partnership with stakeholders and partner teams, willingness to understand existing processes and systems, solid technical acumen, experience in delivering quality technical solutions and ensure the systems are stable, performant, and secure. This role provides an opportunity to work with Group Benefits Operations business customers. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong leadership skills and have experience in delivering quality technical solutions as well as setting and executing on a strategic technical vision. In addition, candidate must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, willingness to understand existing processes and systems, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. They should be able to make decisions quickly in consultation with team members and subject matter experts and be able to build relationships and understand the dynamics and critical nature of the business.

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$111,920 – $167,880
