Purpose Of Job

Essential Duties AndResponsibilities

• Acts as subject matter expert for compensation and benefits best practices and market competitiveness.
• Develops and maintains a total rewards program in support of organizational goals and objectives to ensure CHAS Health remains competitive.
• Partners with internal customers to ensure coordination and proactive consideration of issues related to compensation and benefits.
• Conducts audits and assessments of compensation and benefit programs to ensure market competitiveness, compliance, and consistency with total rewards strategy.
• Prepares and delivers presentations on compensation and benefit topics.
• Coordinates development of benefits materials, roll-out, and manages administration of the annual open enrollment process.
• Manages external compensation vendor relationships and survey participation.
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders in conducting position analyses to evaluate internal equity, market competitiveness, and compliance of the organization’s pay practices and advises on job offers as needed.
• Supports the negotiation of coverage services and costs with carriers, brokers and providers to ensure excellent service and competitive rates.
• Provides advice to executive leadership regarding compensation and benefit annual medical renewal and cost sharing strategy recommendation. Reviews ancillary benefits (e.g., EAP) renewals and ensure cost competitive contracts as well as competitive coverage.
• Performs other duties assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: Bachelor’sdegree or higher in Business Administration, Finance or Human ResourceManagement preferred.

SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, HRCI-PHR orHRCI-SPHR preferred. Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.

Minimum five years of leadershipexperience in human resource management, benefits or compensation required.

Demonstrated leadership and teamdevelopment skills required.

Experience and proven successimplementing and managing compensation and benefit programs / initiativesrequired.

Combination of education andexperience will be considered in lieu of degree.

Skills:

Excellent verbal and writtencommunication / presentation skills required.

Ability to work proactively and collaborativelywith people at all levels in the organization required.

Computer skills required. Exhibitsexcellent relationship building skills.

Valid drivers’ license and insurancerequired.

Physical Demands
