We are looking for a Senior Electrical Industrial Project Manager to join State Group’s growing team in our Buffalo, New York Division. This position is an integral part of our success and provides opportunities for future growth and advancement. This position will be based in Rochester NY on-site with a a big three auto manufacturer.
This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing operations related to a wide range of ongoing multi-trade construction projects. This position will lead team members in project development and oversee company projects to make sure they are running as planned. The Project Manager will build customer, labor, employee, union, and other relationships, to communicate results during project milestones and manage critical path, personnel, quality, and safety issues professionally and proactively.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Interface with clients and contractors during pre and post-tender applications to develop effective business relationships.
- Work independently to interpret customer bid requirements to assemble detailed and complete labor, material, equipment, and expense summaries for review and closing.
- Manage administrative and direct labor work while managing projects.
- Conduct cost analysis at completion of the project.
- Ensure quality construction standards are followed.
- Monitor and lead compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Manage and mitigate risks.
- Comply with the State Group’s standards and operating procedures, including those pertaining to ISO9001:2015.
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM
- 3-7+ years of construction project management and/or estimating experience.
- Experience with industrial and commercial projects.
- Intermediate MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Prefer experience in managing a vast array of project sizes ranging from Service and Maintenance to large multi-disciplined turnkey projects.
- Time management skills, the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks effectively with a proven track record of success in a busy, deadline-oriented environment, and strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Pay: $95,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
