Position Summary & Responsibilities
The Kansas Department of Labor (KDOL) is seeking a full-time unclassified Administrative Assistant to work in the Fraud and Integrity department in Topeka. This position is benefits eligible and requires the employee to be available to work 40 hours per week., Monday through Friday.
This position serves as administrative support staff for the Fraud and Integrity department with the Kansas Department of Labor. Successful candidate will perform clerical duties. The candidate must be able to meet deadlines and be detail oriented. These duties include, but are not limited to:
Answering phones
Working with multiple computer databases to perform job functions,
Interacting with staff and the public in an articulate, polite and professional manner.
Minimum Qualifications
High school education or GED is required education. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
Six months of experience in general office, clerical or administrative support work.
Preferred Qualifications
Fluency in Spanish is a plus
