This Week Health Hiring for WordPress Developer / Designer / Creator at Remote Full Time

We are looking for an outstanding entry-level Web Developer and Web Administrator to be responsible for the coding, innovative design, and layout of our website. Web developer responsibilities include building our website from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function.

At This Week Health we develop content for Healthcare IT professionals with the mission to propel healthcare forward. Our podcasts are some of the most listened to content in the industry and we continue to grow and expand our offerings to the community.

This past year we added on-demand content, we added community features and we would like to expand our digital offerings to our community. We also launched events this past year and we are looking for someone who is comfortable exploring new solutions that can help us support our growth.

Responsibilities:

• Meeting with team to discuss website design and function.
• Designing and building the website front-end.
• Creating the website architecture.
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
• Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
• Conducting website performance tests.
• Troubleshooting content issues.
• Implement new requirements & plugins to enhance the site experience and conversion
• Review, analyze, modify, create clean source code on the front and backend
• Interface with third party APIs such as Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Dynamics
• Familiarity with optimization techniques for site speed and search
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issue
• Conducting WordPress training with the team.

Role Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
• Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Ability to manage projects.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with little supervision and strong attention to detail
• Requires the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
