About The Role
Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, Remote Dispatchers monitor daily delivery operations from start to finish. Remote Dispatchers are the communication point of contact for emergency and non-emergency calls (from Delivery Drivers) and track our Delivery Drivers’ movements to ensure successful direct-to-consumer deliveries.
This is a fully remote position but will be supporting our Burlington, NJ location.
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for the success of all drivers/routes dispatched during their shift
- Promptly report incidents and conflicts to supervisors/managers
- Efficient dispatching
- Keep the driver roster up to date at all times.
- Continuously monitor route statuses
- Answer delivery questions in a timely and courteous manner
- Keep detailed notes to compile shift reports
- Manage delivery errors
- Train and coach delivery drivers
- Keep all sheets and docs up to date and organized
- Attend weekly logistics meetings
- Additional tasks, duties, projects and responsibilities may be assigned as needed
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years experience dispatching experience, last-mile experience preferred
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including occasional evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency with tech platforms including, but not limited to Onfleet, G-suite, and Slack
- Able adapt to/learn new technologies/platforms quickly
- Excellent written, auditory, and oral communication skills
- Critical thinking and the ability to make quick decisions
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
$20 – $23 an hour
The starting hourly rate for this position is $20.00 out of the pay band range of $20.00 – $23.00 and represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of the posting.
