ThriveMore Brands is currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our Business Office Team. If you are passionate about maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the financial health of a growing organization, we invite you to apply.

What you will be doing?

• Record Financial Transactions: Maintaining records according to generally accepted accounting principles, including the recordation of journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation of bank statements
• Maintain General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure that all accounts are balanced and accurate.
• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements with company records regularly to identify and rectify discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting: Generate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis for management and stakeholders.
• Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses by verifying receipts and expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Bank Reconciliation: Retrieve monthly bank statements and prepare reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records and identify discrepancies.
• Financial modeling and FP&A
• Yearly and quarterly budgeting

What We’re Looking For?

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Bookkeeper experience with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Familiarity with spreadsheet applications such as Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
• Bookkeepers must be meticulous in recording and reconciling financial transactions to ensure accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills are crucial to managing financial documents and records efficiently.
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
