Tidal Wave Auto Spa Hiring for Assistant General Counsel Job at Thomaston, GA Full Time

BASIC FUNCTION:

Under the supervision and guidance of Assistant General Counsel I, provide proactive legal advice, services, and consultation on a wide range of legal-policy matters, compliance, and risk management with respect to legal aspects of the varied business functions undertaken in the course of Tidal Wave Auto Spa’s daily operations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Compose and type letters, memoranda, reports, and contracts.
• Review and negotiate transactional documents for a variety of transaction types including, but not limited to, mergers and acquisitions, sale/leaseback transactions, and vendor contracts.
• Support Tidal Wave Auto Spa’s risk management department in the handling of customer and employee complaints and claims.
• Oversee outside counsel with respect to various outsourced projects including transactions, strategic initiatives, and litigation.
• Oversee and assist in the organization of diligence files and the population of data rooms as necessary.
• Assist in the development and modification of policies and procedures to adequately manage legal risks and ensure efficient operations.
• Support, on an as needed basis, Tidal Wave Auto Spa’s Real Estate Counsel I and Real Estate Counsel II with real estate acquisitions and other matters which may arise from time to time related to Tidal Wave Auto Spa’s existing and future locations
• Assembles and compiles data for reports and presentations.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing similar corporate legal transactions, contracts, or documents. In-house or private practice experience will be considered.
• Juris Doctorate from an American Bar Association accredited college or university AND licensed to practice law in law in at least one U.S. Jurisdiction.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize and provide exceptional service to both internal and external clients.
• Self-motivated and a team player.
• Well organized with stellar time management skills.
• Able to communicate in a professional manner, both internally and externally.
• Proper telephone & email etiquette along with solid presentations skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
