Overview:

The position is responsible for developing and executing Tractor Supply’s supplier diversity strategy. The Manager, Supplier Diversity is responsible for achieving Tractor Supply targets and goals for the strategic supplier diversity plans and drive cross-functional alignment with leadership that procure goods and services; formation and leadership of supplier councils; system education; lives and brings the Tractor Supply values to life and industry engagement to gain insight on best practices and emerging issues as well as to position Tractor Supply as a leader and change-agent.

Responsibilities:

• Globally drives the leadership, planning, organizing and implementation of the supplier diversity programs which includes governance, roles and organizations (people), process, technology and data strategies. Creates and communicates analytical reports and dashboards to monitor supplier utilization trends and performance to established goals and objectives.
• Develops the multi-year strategy for creating and sustaining a diverse supply base across all merchandising divisions. Leads the creation of a world class supplier sourcing program.
• Works with cross-functional leadership to identify areas of opportunities and establish plans to close gaps. Monitors progress and facilitates adjustments to plan.
• Establishes and Chairs regional internal advisory boards with executives to set program goals, objectives, program scope and measures building a 5-year strategy and yearly action planning.
• Effectively oversees performance of supplier diversity development organizations and external data partners supporting the program. Maintains fair, respectful, and productive relationships with all TSC suppliers and reinforces positive brand image within the supplier community.
• Monitors and analyzes industry trends, benchmark data and emerging practices and recommends best in class methods of working to senior and executive leadership.
• Leads and coordinates TSC supplier community outreach and support to diverse vendor councils.
• Manages global communication plans and materials, including presentations, reports, and marketing collateral.
• Actively engages in the preparation of internal and external events promoting and recognizing supplier diversity efforts.
• Develop and execute annual diversity supplier engagement survey.
• Ensures alignment with Tractor Supply Diversity Equity and Inclusion efforts.

Qualifications:

Experience : 8+ years of experience in a comparable role leading and transforming a large-scale global supplier diversity program

Education : Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in related fields. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Professional Certifications : CPSM, CPSD or similar certifications preferred

Other knowledge, skills or abilities :

• Highly proficient at developing and delivering communications for senior leadership and external stakeholders
• High change orientation with the ability to drive change-management across internal and external stakeholder groups
• Demonstrated change management experience with the ability to move stakeholders toward a common vision or goal
• Influences and collaborates cross-functionally to create alignment, momentum and to achieve goals
• Strong knowledge of full lifecycle procurement, supplier management, vendor management and sourcing
• Experienced in strategic planning including establishing goals and key metrics
• Proficient in large-scale project management and driving results through others
• Established relationships within industry recognized Supplier Diversity councils and organizations
• Business Intelligence and Data Analytics program management experience. Strong Systems and tools: Data Analytics tools, MS Excel, Word
• Ability to travel globally to Tractor Supply locations, industry conferences, and sourcing events
