Starting Salary: $18.89 – $20.07 (depending on certifications)
Location: 2012 Old Timbers, Edmond OK.
This is a Safety Sensitive position
The Job
- Assist with maintenance & repairs of traffic signals, street lights, signs & pavement markings.
- Perform maintenance on traffic signs, including straightening and resetting.
- Inspect and replace signs as needed.
- Install new traffic signs, in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (M.U.T.C.D.).
- Set up and take down barricades for special events.
- Fabrication of traffic signs.
- Drive bucket trucks, repair and/or assist in determining what work needs to be done.
- Work may be on a ladder or in a bucket truck.
- Daily work schedule of four 10-hour shifts with a rotating schedule.
